What does it take to do a Roast party?

You and your family participate weeks (or days) before the big night by sharing with Gary fun, great stories about the person who is to be roasted and toasted. Gary then goes into his mad laboratory and concocts a special, personal one-of-a-kind show.

You get to sit back and enjoy the night as the award-winning, comedy-magician Gary Shelton spins a Roast that traces the honoree’s greatest… and a few of his/her most embarrassing moments in life. Think of a gentle “Celebrity roast” combined with “This is your life”

Do I have to stand up and tell jokes?

No, Gary is a professional who takes the reigns for the whole night. If you or someone else has something particularly special to share, then Gary will be happy to help with that one moment.
 
What is the average running time for this type of show?

Gary’s mix of original comedy written for the special night, combined with his own award- winning show material, culminates in an average running time of about 40 minutes.
